From October 21 to 23, 2025, Polytec took part in Steel Tech – Congress & Expo in Bilbao, one of the leading events for the European steel industry.
At its exhibition booth, the company showcased its latest innovations in robotics and industrial automation, focused on operator safety, process efficiency, and product quality.

The event proved to be a valuable meeting point full of ideas, exchanges, and new perspectives for the future of the steel industry. For Polytec, it was a great opportunity to engage with customers, partners, and industry professionals on key topics such as digitalization, safety, and sustainability in steelmaking.

Among the highlights of the participation, Polytec took part in the Workshop Corner with a presentation titled “Enhancing quality control for long products with robotics and computer vision”, focused on computer vision and automated quality control technologies applied to long products.
